Dr. Simpson-Oreggio received her medical degree from Howard University, Washington, D.C., and completed her residency at Harlem Hospital and Columbia Presbyterian Hospitals. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She completed a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology from MonteFiore Hospital in New York, and has a special interest in caring for children with diabetes. She is married, is the mother of three children and enjoys swimming.
