STATISTICS:

  • Largest volume of procedures is the Total Joint Arthroplasty (joint replacement) for Rheumatoid and Osteoarthritis
  • 550 Total Joint Procedures performed annually
  • Average Length of Stay for the total joint replacement is less than 4 days post operatively on the post surgery unit

UNIQUE FEATURES:

  • Pre-operative education provided for all Total Joint Replacement and Spinal surgical procedures
  • Classes prescheduled by physician offices or call 647-7700
  • Contact Alyssa Yoder, RN, BSN, Orthopaedic Educator, at 574-647-3359 for specific class information
  • 100% of all Total Joint Procedures are scheduled for a pre-operative visit with Orthopaedic Pre-Admission Nurses
