You can never know what radiation will be like no matter how much people try to prepare you. The treatments were difficult. I could not begin to understand the many side effects. However, the staff at Memorial Hospital made those difficult days a whole lot easier.

They not only provided me with much needed treatment, but they also gave me emotional and spiritual support. By the end of my treatment, I can truly say that the doctors, nurses, and therapists became my friends. Not a day goes by where I don’t recall their help and generosity with fondness.
