WELCOME to Memorial Hospital's NEW Student Vital Link Web Portal. Here, students can complete the required security forms and access Memorial's Cerner Training environment.
In addition, instructors and students can use this site to safely learn to navigate and use Memorial's electronic health records (EHR). These will help students access the documentation necessary to prepare for patients' clinical visits.
Memorial has been traversing the road of patient care innovation since 2002 with our first phase of our EHR. This web portal is a continuation of that journey, along with the up-and-coming computerized physician order entry (CPOE), anticipated within the next two years. Before entering the health care workforce, students must be prepared to meet the ever-changing landscape of the field and informatics; this Vital Link Web Portal is one means of helping students' fulfill this demand.

Please note:
To be able to use Memorial's EHR, students MUST download and complete the attached security access forms. Remember to print clearly and complete the forms in their entirety (including the last four digits of your SSN and full birth date).
Instructors are to send the forms to Memorial at least three weeks prior to the clinical start. Failure to do so may lead to delayed access and inability to document patient care electronically.
