Young Dancers Giving Back for Memorial Children's Hospital
Apple Corps Dancers from Debbie Werbrouck’s School of Dance will perform "Dancing for a Difference," a benefit concert to help support cancer services at Memorial Children’s Hospital.
What: "Dancing for a Difference" benefit concert
Date: Wednesday, Aug. 15
Time: 6 p.m.
Place: The Little Theatre, Saint Mary’s College
Donation: $5
Each dancer will perform in a group dance choreographed by school faculty. Older dancers will also perform one-minute self-choreographed dances in solo, duet or trio format. Styles will include ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical and hip-hop. Patchwork Dance Company will also participate with a jazz dance "Full of Life," choreographed by resident Patchwork Choreographer, Jenn Wolfe.
This performance is a project designed to let young dancers outreach to their community through dance. For more information, please call 574-247-1590.
