He was responsible for Associate Relations, the Ethics Compliance Program, International Human Resources as well as University Recruiting and the Management Trainee Program. He has also lead Lean Administration initiatives across the organization as well as coordination of Human Resources management across multiple business units throughout the United States and Mexico.

He has also served as Manager of Human Resources for AlliedSignal Braking in South Bend from 1989 to 1995, where he focused on staffing, employee development, process improvement, negotiations, employee relations, and benefits administration.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Administration from Indiana University, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is a member of the Indiana University Executive Council, and the Indiana University Alumni Board, among other professional organizations.

“We are honored to welcome Steve to our growing team,” said Phil Newbold, CEO of Beacon Health System. “He brings an immense amount of knowledge and hands-on experience in the many diverse roles of Human Resources, and I know he will be an important asset to our leadership team.”

Steve grew up in Michiana, and is a proud Penn High School graduate. He has two children, Ashley and Michael, and in his spare time enjoys running, biking and serving on several community boards. He is a fan of IU sports and college basketball, and supports his children’s interests from musical theatre to basketball and baseball.

“I am very excited to come back to Michiana and be a part of such an innovative and world-class team like Beacon Health System,” said Steve Eller. “I am looking forward to starting this new journey and helping steer our Health System as it continues to grow and evolve in this new era of health care.”

Please join me in welcoming him to the Beacon Health System family.
