Professional Golfers to Visit Memorial Children's Hospital
Members of the Symetra Tour, representing the world’s best young women professional golfers, will tour Memorial Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 10:30 a.m. Media who would like to attend can meet in Memorial’s Main Lobby at 10:15 a.m.
The Tour will be in South Bend for the Four Winds Invitational taking place Aug. 10 - 12 at Blackthorn Golf Club. Memorial Children’s Hospital has been named the beneficiary of the event.
The Symetra Tour – Road to the LPGA, is the world’s largest international women’s development tour and is committed to developing LPGA stars of tomorrow while creating viable role models for the youth of today.
About the Four Winds Invitational
The Four Winds Invitational is a new tournament on the 2012 Symetra® Tour – Road to the LPGA, sponsored by Four Winds® Casino. It will take place from Friday, Aug. 10 through Sunday, Aug. 12, at Blackthorn Golf Club, located at 6100 Nimtz Parkway, South Bend. The tournament will feature a field of professional women golfers from around the world competing for a total prize of $150,000, making it the largest purse on the 2012 Symetra Tour.
