Free Vascular Screenings
As we approach Father’s Day, keep in mind that encouraging your father to stay healthy is far more important than simply finding the right tie. The number one killer of men in the United States, according to the CDC, is heart disease. Consider encouraging your father, or any other loved one (male or female) over the age of 40, to take the free What’s My Risk HeartAware or StrokeAware health assessments online at WhatsMyRisk.org. Should he be at risk for heart disease or stroke, he will be contacted by the Memorial Health Discovery Center and given the opportunity for a free vascular screening.
The upcoming screening on June 16 is booked, but there are additional screenings throughout the summer and fall on:
- July 21 from 5 – 9 p.m.
- August 18 from 5- 9 p.m.
- September 24 from 8 – noon
- October 13 from 5- 9 p.m.
- November 12 from 8 a.m. to noon
Please call the Health Discovery Center at 574-647-1801 for more information or to reserve seating.
