Free Admission to Women’s Health Series
Deb Houser, RPh, of Memorial Hospital’s Mar-Main Pharmacy will conduct two free, informational sessions on women’s health. “Hormone Balance and Thyroid Function: How Our Bodies Work” will be on Monday, June 13 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., and “Achieving Hormone Balance and Adrenal Function” will be on Tuesday, June 14 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Hormones play an important part in the daily running of the human body, and they go through stages throughout one’s life. The first presentation addresses issues of sex hormones, adrenals, thyroid, and insulin. The second presentation addresses ways in which problems with hormone levels can be addressed medically. Both presentations are relevant to men and women.
The presentations are held at the Memorial Health Discovery Center and are supported by Memorial Hospital and Health System and the Spirit of Women organization. Please call 574-647-1801 for more information or to reserve seating.
