4th Annual Jazzed About Art Event Benefiting Memorial Regional Cancer Center
Susan and Brian Coulter, honorary co-chairpersons, will host the fourth annual Jazzed About Art event, taking place at Trio’s Restaurant & Jazz Club from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 24. World-renowned performers Danny Lerman and Darryl Buchanan perform during this evening of jazz, art, and decadent cuisine. Tickets are available online at either www.jazzedaboutart.org, www.TriosSB.com, at Memorial Regional Breast Care Center, or at Trio’s Restaurant & Jazz Club.
Mix 106’s Gene Walker will emcee and coordinate the evening’s festivities. He will also facilitate the live auction of original artworks by local artists and the silent auction of donated items from area businesses and individuals.
Proceeds from the event benefit Memorial Regional Cancer Center’s complementary care services for regional cancer patients. These services include the Pink Ribbon program for breast cancer patients, massage therapy, acupuncture, and yoga classes. The services are provided free of charge to patients of area hospitals and treatment centers. While they have medical, spiritual, physical and social benefits for patients, such programs are generally not covered by insurance.
Presenters of Jazzed About Art include: Memorial Regional Cancer Center, Trio’s Restaurant & Jazz Club, Mix 106, Duley Press, Lampkin Music Group, ElectroProductions Inc., CircaArts and CW25. For a full list of participating organizations and ticket information, visit www.jazzedaboutart.org.
