Breastfeeding Basics for Women: Feb 18, 2013
6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
This special prenatal breastfeeding class is just for women. Expectant mothers are welcome to bring their own mothers, friends or sisters. Learn how to best prepare for breastfeeding, what breastfeeding will be like, proven techniques for latching babies on and avoiding pain, plus common obstacles and how to overcome them.

All classes are held in the Childbirth Center's Family Education Rooms. Please be sure to park in the Lafayette Parking Garage. Proceed to the third floor and look for the blue illuminated sign at the ceiling of the garage which reads "Memorial Childbirth Center." Enter the hospital through these doors. The Family Education Rooms are just inside. Your educator will be there to greet you. Parking is free for all class participants.
Fee
$15 (per couple) or complimentary when you sign up for Complete Childbirth Prep. In order to take this class as part of the Complete Childbirth Prep, please select your childbirth class first. When you register for your childbirth class, you will be prompted to select a Breastfeeding Basics class as well.
