“To empower the minority community to take a more active role in meeting their health needs.”

To educate African American women and families about the importance of early detection of breast cancer, breast self-exams (BSE), clinical breast exams (CBE) and mammograms.
To educate and empower African American women and other minorities about developing healthy eating habits.
To educate and gain the trust of minority women about enrolling in Clinical Trials.
To inspire and recruit survivors to participate in WIT.
To provide mammograms to uninsured/underinsured women and women whose insurance does not cover the cost of a mammogram.
