Favorite Thing About Working at HW: Being
able to be around kids and great adults all the time!
Favorite Program: I love Don’t
Laugh at Me (now known as It’s Not Cool to Be Cruel)
because what it talks about is so important!
Funniest Experience at HW: It’s
hard to think of just one thing because we all laugh all
of the time! Every day I laugh when I watch and hang out
with kids at the Dental Exhibit. If all dentists were
as funny as they are, everyone would want to go to the
dentist all the time.

Exhibit: Skin Crawl Wall - It's totally experiential!!!!
Favorite Thing About Working at HW: Is
that I feel I have the opportunity to touch the livse
of children and give them information that will help them
to make good choices that will make our lives richer.
Favorite Program: The change Will Do
You Good, our sex education program, becuase I realize
the
importance of giving accurate information to children
who get thier information from unreliable sources such
as friends and television. Answering questions that you
realize have been worrying children and taking the fear
out of growing up is the most rewarding job in the world.
Funniest Experience at HW: Involves sex
education so it wouldn't be appropriate to tell you.

Favorite Exhibit: I like it when the
girl sneezes. It’s always good for a laugh. And
of course the zit always grosses me out.
Favorite Thing About Working at HW: Most
of all I enjoy trying out all kinds of new things. Since
I work with putting together the exhibits and the shows
in the classrooms, I get to let my imagination run away
with me. It’s someone else’s job to bring
it back.
Favorite Program: I love Brendan’s
World Talking to a kid throughout his day and helping
him make the best decision is what we’re all about
at HW!
Funniest Experience at HW: I bring my
kids into work with me sometimes. And of course every
time they’re here they get an All About Me card.
I get to look back at all the different poses they’ve
thought up, and see how they’ve grown since we opened.

Exhibit: My Favorite Exhibit: is the All About
Me computer. It is great to sit down one on one with the
kids and interact with them.
Favorite Thing About Working at HW: Do
I have to name just one?! I love working with children.
My co-workers are the funniest, energizing and most creative
creatures on the planet. I love participating in outreach
programs. I also like working with the Hummer and creating
different summer camps.
Favorite Program: Bike Safety because
I am one of the instructors. I love teaching and watching
the ‘light bulb’ turn on above a child’s
head. A child’s energy, imagination and creativeness
is something more adults need to work on in their daily
lives.
Funniest Experience at HW: That would
be working with Meredith at the fair. We were playing
jump rope & limbo with the intestines (on the Hummer).
We also were carrying them over everyone’s heads.
Jeanne and I also feasted on caviar, mineral water and
filet mignon in our tie-dye shirts at the hospitals formal
dedication dinner . . . Do you have any grey pupon?

Favorite Thing About Working at HW: The
staff and well we work together as a team
Favorite Program: Brendan’s World
because I love interacting with ‘Brendan and Bob’.
I also like that everyone in the class gets to learn things
that will improve their lives.
Funniest Experience at HW: I was teaching
a class of 2nd graders about ‘The Amazing Body’,
trying to get the next 2 kids at the kiosks to guess the
word LUNGS. After giving the hint – ‘They
help you breath’ I turned over a picture of a pair
of lungs. One of the little boys at the game show kiosks
face beamed and he quickly slammed his button while yelling
out his answer . . . testicles!!! His teachers and I laughed
for quite a while about that answer.

views on life. They say the most amazing things! Plus
the staff that works here could not be better.
Favorite Program: The Choice Is Yours.
It is so fun to teach because the kids are able to improvise
and be creative. It’s fun and gets an important
message across. It allows kids to explore different choices
and their consequences.
Funniest Experience at HW: Driving the
Hummer to the Indianapolis Black Expo with Laura and Joe.
We had the best time and the people were great. The people

into town!

Exhibit: Virus Invaders!! It’s great fun
to get rid of all those nasty germs.
Favorite Thing About Working at HW: The
kids, the people at HW! And watching adults have fun like
kids!
Favorite Program: It’s Not Cool
To Be Cruel because if we can make a difference in the
classroom with the students, celebrating uniqueness, and
eradicate the bullying then we’ve done our job.
A healthy self-esteem is a healthy child.
Funniest Experience at HW: When a third
grade group came in for a program and my group was on
the exhibit floor first. One young lady couldn’t
wait to show the place to her friend who had never been
here before. Upon seeing the floor from the doorway, she
exclaimed loudly ‘See, there’s the testicles
over there (pointing toward the intestines from floor
to ceiling). Those right there, the testicles!!’
She was so excited and I was so afraid when I gave the
quick over view of our floor ‘Please take only one
picture of yourselves at All About Me. Please only climb
on the skin not on the eyeballs of the …(pause)…
intestines!

that he ran down the stairs with his class and left.
