 HealthWorks!
magical exhibit floor contains over 20 larger-than-life
hands-on activity stations that are designed to teach
you something new about your body. There is no start or
finish to the floor; you may visit them in any order at
your own pace. Text panels are written at a third grade
reading-level, so younger kids may need some assistance
with directions.
Brain
Theater
The
Main Brain Theater is a one-of-a kind objects theater
located inside a giant replica of the human brain! The
22-minute feature takes you inside the mind of a local
13-year old girl and gives insight into the inner workings
of the nervous system. Far beyond a typical movie experience,
you will be kept very busy as a member of the audience.
Be prepared for some surprises!

Me
At this exclusive
exhibit, sit down at one of the computers to have your
photo taken and answer questions about yourself. Once
the questions are completed, pick up your photo certificate
at the printer for an original HealthWorks! souvenir.
Vincent's
Tree House
(Opening September 2003) New at HealthWorks!, Vincent's
Tree House provides a beautiful play area for younger
visitors. Pick vegetables in the garden, sort them in
the cart, and trade them at the market as you learn about
healthy food. Once you have climbed the tree to investigate
Vincent's house, slide back down to the ground where more
activities are there to keep you busy. In loving memory

Skin Crawl
Wall
HealthWorks!' own
horizontal climbing wall gives you and opportunity to
move your muscles and learn some interesting facts about
your largest body organ. Test your endurance as you try
to reach the end of the skin. If you slip, fear not; the
wall is surrounded by foam that will cushion your fall.

Invaders
Step inside Virus
Invaders and enter into your body's immune system in HealthWorks!
virtual reality game. Protect the body by battling tuberculosis,
influenza, and other invading organisms but be sure not
to harm the white blood cells; they are on your side!
Dentist
Office
This
new exhibit provides you with a chance to walk in a dentist's
shoes and learn about oral hygiene as you provide care
to a loveable patient…Mr. Big Mouth. Or, sit in the
chair yourself as another friend gives you a check-up.
