Diabetes Education Classes

Objective

This two-part program is designed for adults with diabetes. It provides information for selfmanagement and control of the disease. Diabetes touches many aspects of your life. It is a serious disease, but one you can control. By learning meal planning, glucose monitoring, medication regimens and complication prevention, you can actively participate in your treatment plan. The goal is to control your diabetes so it doesn’t control you.

Faculty

Classes are taught by a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), who is also a Registered Dietitian. A CDE is a person specially trained to educate people of all ages about the management of diabetes.
