Save the Date for the 2012 Mary Morris Leighton Lecture, featuring Arthur Kramer, Director of the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology and the Swanlund Chair and Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Illinois.
Arthur Kramer received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1984. Kramer was named Director of the Beckman Institute in May 2010. He is a Professor in the University of Illinois Department of Psychology, the Campus Neuroscience Program and the Institute of Aviation. He is also a full-time faculty member in the Beckman Institute Human Perception and Performance group. His fields of professional interest are cognitive neuroscience, cognitive and brain plasticity, aging, attention, perception and human factors.
